Model Overview
With the E-Tron GT, Audi makes a bold move into EV sport sedan territory. This is a stylish four-door proving, one, that EVs can be fast and fun and, two, that Audi recognizes upscale models are key to developing and establishing EV technology that will eventually trickle down to less-expensive models. The E-Tron GT’s 2022 arrival also signals that Audi is no longer content to watch the upstarts at Tesla dominate the sporty-car EV market.

On certain vehicles, there could be a problem inside the high-voltage battery. As a result, the battery modules could overheat and short circuit.
Safety Risk:
A short circuit in the high-voltage battery can create a fire risk.
Corrective Actions:
Audi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the high-voltage battery modules. To reduce the safety risk, Audi recommends that you set the maximum charge setting of your vehicle at 80% until the recall repairs are completed.

Under certain conditions, the plug for the 220 V compact vehicle charging cable could become damaged by the house power outlet. As a result, the cable could overheat while charging.
Note: This recall only affects electric and plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) models.

Corrective Actions:
Audi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the vehicle charging cable. For unsold vehicles, the dealer will remove the charging cable before they are delivered to consumers.

If this happens, the display screen will not turn on when you start the vehicle and the rearview camera image will not appear when backing up. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse.

The owner's manual for certain vehicles lists the wrong units for the recommended tire pressures. If you rely on what is printed in the owner's manual, you may not inflate the tires properly. Driving a vehicle with tires that are not inflated correctly could cause a loss of vehicle stability and/or lead to a tire failure.
Note: The tire and loading information label on the B-pillar list the correct tire pressures.

On certain vehicles, the wiring harness for the centre-rear seat belt buckle could interfere with the lower universal anchorage system (UAS) for securing a child seat. As a result, you may not be able to properly attach a child seat in the right-rear seat using the UAS.
